Media Projects
I am a media production graduate from the University of Sussex with experience in video production, 3D animation and rendering. Highly creative and passionate with extensive experience in 3D animation using Maya and Blender, I am an eager worker hoping to improve my skills and acquire new ones. I possess vast capability in video production, using camera and lighting equipment, and postproduction using the Adobe Suite.

In 2021 I created a documentary about an abandoned sea-going railway and tram that I brought to life using Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya and the Octane render engine. Modelling a historic machine using old photographs and toy models as reference before texturing it in a short period of time was a challenge. During this process I would (for the first time) learn about compositing 3D rendered images with footage and the skills accompanying colour and lighting. I would also purchase a drone and discover the most effective way to utilise its cinematic capabilities to further my documentary.

In 2022 I learned to fully model and animate my first human character. Throughout this journey I learnt a lot about the conventions of animation, how to further a scene’s efficiency and lower resources required thus speeding up rendering whilst learning to work with a pipeline.

Interests & Hobbies
-
Photography - Capturing a moment in a single image has always interested me, and the story that one image can tell.

-
TV Shows and Films - These have made me cry with happiness and sadness, angry for characters and at characters, scream at the plot twist or the a jumpscare. The way emotions can be conjured by such a medium in an efficient way has always fascinated me. This is why I am so passionate about wanting to produce work which affects others in the same way it has affected me.

-
Electronics - Dismantling devices and seeing how they work has always interested me, which lead to an interest in computers and electronics. I repaired many iPods, iPads, Phones, Laptops, consoles, monitors and more. Growing up I built my own PC and learning each component and their function. I designed my own home theatre system; sound system, sound proofing/controlling and lighting. More recently I have repaired an ECU unit for a car and a drone which required testing and creating new cables.
-
Home Automation – Using Home Assistant I have been converting my home into a smart home, installing smart lighting, motion sensors, CCTV, curtain motors, temperature sensors, TVs and sound systems along with integrating the existing nest heating system. Also creating automations that run under specific circumstances such as certain lights turning on at different times using motion sensors and light sensors, and curtains opening and closing, and general energy saving such as tracking when people are home and not so as to turn off or on appliances and lights.

-
Reading - Reading was something I always hated but after a Tv show ended before its story could be complete, I ended up picking up the books it was based off and falling in love with reading becoming a daily occurrence and an expensive hobby.

-
Video games - I grew up playing video games and it’s because of them that I grew interested in programming. Modding games and running servers for them has been something I have found enjoyment in doing.
